For our historical exhibit due to be finished April 26, 2025 we've rented the old 'Conference Room' along the same hallway leading to our 'Managers' Office' room. It has koa built-ins, a big cabinet, and sliding wall panels like the Manager's Office.
But the room is in very sad shape - ceiling's falling in, dusty dirty, old casement windows barely function, fixtures are missing, and the electric wiring mostly doesn't work.
So we're fixing it up!
New volunteer Nick Masciangelo took down the remaining ''canec' ceiling pieces. Paumalu Electric is set to repair the wiring and remove the ugly exposed conduits. We've swept it out and measured for the exhibit layout.
Now the roof is getting fixed. Hey, it leaked! On Top Roofing has done a great job.
